PETNET Solutions Australia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Rikard-Bell as the Head of Sales for PETNET Solutions Australia. The appointment follows the departure of General Manager, John Hodder and is also part of an organisational restructure.

Ken comes to PETNET following significant experience in senior roles in the Health Care and Pharmaceutical sector.

The basis for the organisational change and restructure reflects the current growth of the business and the life cycle of facility. Since the facility is now fully commissioned and operating, some of the primary roles and responsibilities have changed requiring more of an emphasis on sales and marketing and less on the start-up and regulatory requirements required in the early phase. Our primary focus will now be an absolute commitment to quality and customer requirement fulfillment.

Ken's primary focus will be to consolidate existing relationships and expand our portfolio of products and services through our alignment with PETNET Solutions globally . Many of you are familiar with Sam Dent who has been responsible for overseeing the FDG production process and all technical aspects of the facility. Sam has been promoted into the role of Operations Manager and we are confident that the new team will play a pivotal role in the next steps for PETNET Solutions.

We take this opportunity to thank John Hodder for his contributions during his tenure and wish him well with his new venture. John will remain within the PETNET Solutions family having been appointed PETNET Solutions Asia Pacific Manager.

John was instrumental in the initial start up of the facility from commissioning to operation. He worked around the clock with the building and construction team to ensure the completion of a world class, state-of-the-art facility.

Following the building phase, John recruited the initial start up team and guided the organisation through the myriad of technical and administrative processes to obtain regulatory approvals. He was also instrumental in orchestrating the official launch of the facility, in sourcing initial customers both in Australia and New Zealand, and maintaining the efficient operation of the facility to ensure a reliable supply and customer confidence in the PETNET product.

We wish John every success as he pursues his new and exciting role and thank him for his tireless efforts in building PETNET Solutions in Australia.
